A happy little dance

I am very excited and a little scared about the whole pregnancy. It was a very huge surprise, but a pleasant surprise none the less.
I think I've been feeling all the symptoms possible except for one or two. It's a little difficult sometimes, but thinking about the baby gives me both the strength and will to go on positively.
Speaking about the baby, it's the most beautiful thing I've seen. Yes, I know it's so small you can barely distinguish anything... yet I have no words to describe what it feels to watch a new life growing inside me. I actually cried when I see him/her moving his/her arms and legs.
My family is very excited and happy as well. My husband never stops telling me how much he loves us both. It's amazing even though sometimes the sickness is unbearable and I just want to sleep as much as I can.
I'm so looking forward to my first child and I hope to make him/her as happy as possible, even now. I also pray every night for God to take care of this tiny wonderful miracle.
So what's the bet? Boy or girl?

If life gives you lemons...

I am pretty tired today. Yesterday's fest was not as memorable and I liked the hotel better, but it was an OK location, considering it was inside a shopping center. By the way, I must remember not to be a cosplay judge anymore. It's exhausting! And I couldn't leave until the contest was over, even though I had a strong headache.

Healthwise, I haven't been feeling good lately. I guess I'm still getting over all those months of medical treatments. However, I need to wait a little more before calling my doctor and ask.

On other subjects, I got this surprising meeting at work. I still don't know if it will last or what, but it's very interesting and motivating. More less, considering these past few weeks have been very boring, with almost nothing to do the whole day.

But the most strange thing was a request from someone I didn't expect ever again. It took me a lot of consideration to finally decide to accept, though I haven't officially answered yet. That, and a dream that had me thinking ever since... and got me a little on the down side.

I hope things get better, because Christmas is coming and I love the date! I expect to have some wonderful days with my family and specially, with my loving husband. I can't believe we've been together for almost six years (and almost two of marriage)!

Original Character Birthday Section!

Hi, everyone!

For the past two days I've been working on a very simple JavaScript to display my very own original characters picture and name if any of their birthdays match the current date.

It makes me fell very proud, because it was sort of a challenge for a non-programmer like me. I probably didn't write it in the most efficient way, but it works so I'm a happy person.

I will be filling all the data and uploading pics in the next few days.

Hi,

After a long, long hiatus I decided to resume my blog. I'm not sure if I'll update on a regular basis, but I'll try to keep in touch. After all, it took me my time to change the look of the layout.

There's nothing much going on in work right now. The new project I'm in is boring as hell. I really want the deadline of December 20th to come. Also, the temporary position as CP is not my style at all. Hope the new project is more creative or at least more interesting.

My own projects are developing smoothly. I'm working on HazelBlue again, inking our pages for the third "The Gathering" issue and trying to illustrate my 2011 Calendar (I'm loving what I've sketched so far). There are also a couple of things pending that I would like to finish before the year ends, but I'm not sure if I could.

Personal life is not bad. I had an issue with health last month and I'm still trying to grasp everything related. Thanks god I've got such an amazing husband. He's been a great support so far.
